Adopt-a-Dog Month Promotion at Asheville Humane Society

October is National Adopt-a-Dog Month and Asheville Humane Society is celebrating by reducing adopting fees to $10.00 for dogs over 25 pounds during the entire month of October.

“October is the perfect month to adopt your new best friend! The temperatures are dropping and so are our adoption fees,” said Pam Burgess, Senior Manager of Asheville Humane Society’s Adoption Center. “During National Adopt-a-Dog month, we invite everyone to come meet our fabulous canines and fall in love!”

The reduced adoption fee of $10.00 represents an exceptional value. All adoptions include spay/neuter, all up-to-date vaccines, medical and behavioral screening, microchipping, a free starter bag of food and a free wellness visit with a participating veterinarian. The reduced fee applies to dogs over 25 pounds.

Dogs available for adoption can be viewed on Asheville Humane Society’s website: www.ashevillehumane.org.
