Asheville Beer Week 2014: FUBAR

Continuing our Beer Week drinking game series, we follow up Beer Pong with FUBAR. Never heard of this game before? Neither had I, until recently. This particular drinking game is kind of like a mash up between ‘Never Have I Ever’ and ‘Questions’. Its a good game for a larger group of people, and makes a great icebreaker. So grab some friends from the bar – and maybe some strangers too, and let’s play FUBAR!

You Will Need: A deck of cards
Ideal Number of Players: 6+
To Play: Shuffle the deck of cards thoroughly. Place the cards on the table. Each player will draw a card and place it face up – you will be following the commands that correlate with each card:

Ace: Take one drink
2: Take two
3: Take three
4: Questions – Pick a person your choice and ask them any question, that person must respond with a question, and so on until one person messes up.
5: Make five players of your choosing take a drink
6: Never Have I Ever – one person must state something they have never done. Anyone who has done that act must drink
7: Master of the Thumb – This person can put down their thumb on the table until another number 7 is drawn. When this person does put their thumb down everyone must do the same, the last person to do so drinks.
8: Categories. The first person provides a category and then everyone else must give an example. e.g. Drinking games: Quarters, Flip Cup, I Never and so on.
9: Busta Rhyme – Everyone must give a word that rhymes with yours. e.g. drink, think, pink.
10: Social – Everyone drinks
Jack: Guys drink
Queen: Girls drink
King: Waterfall. As soon as the first player begins to chug their drink, the second must follow him, and so on. All players continue drinking until the player previous to them stops drinking. If the first player is a big drinker, this can be quite a difficult card.
