The Asheville Wine & Food Festival makes it possible to sample every delicious flavor Asheville has to offer.
This year, the pre-festival fun begins on May 1st with AMUSE, continues on June 26th with ESSENCE, and kicks off the festivities with ELIXIR on Thursday, August 20th. Chefs and Mixologists will compete to see who will be represented at ELIXIR. Then on Friday, August 21st we will feature SWEET, the largest gathering of Pastry Chefs will treat you to fabulous desserts, wines, and music.
Finally, on Saturday, August 22nd at the U.S. Cellular Center, the GRAND TASTING will house the largest culinary gathering of its kind in downtown Asheville. Last year 4,000 Festivalians gathered to enjoy a riot of local and international wineries, local Beer City and area breweries, regional distilleries, restaurateurs and chefs, farmers, and artisan food producers who will transform the US Cellular Center into a culinary circus. Meet farmers, chefs, cookbook authors, and artisan beverage makers, as well as select nonprofits and regional crafters. The Asheville Wine & Food Festival was named as a Top 20 Winning Event, in 2014 by the Southeast Tourism Society.
