Asheville Zombie Walk Celebrates 10 Years of Apocalyptic Fun

It’s been nearly a year since the big laboratory spill at the E. W. Grove Microbrewery and Experimental Virus Lab. And we know how that turned out: A strange virus slowly wound its way through our little mountain city turning regular people into bloodthirsty zombies.

Good thing that’s over.

Local news station WAVL sent our roving reporter to the microbrewery once again to find out about the latest breakthroughs at the laboratory and microbrewery.

Let’s go to her now:

The Asheville Zombiewalk is Sunday, October 11. The fun begins at 5pm in downtown Pack Square Park near the city and county buildings. It’s gruesome fun for all ages. We’ll have costume contests, a “Thriller” dance, scavenger hunt for awesome prizes around the city, and lots of surprises.

Come and join Asheville’s living dead as we turn 10 years old. Don’t miss this! Wear a birthday hat if you’d like and help us celebrate. Bring your own fun. The zombies have the park to ourselves.
