Author Megan Shepherd Presents Teen Writer Workshop

Megan Shepherd, author of the acclaimed Madman’s Daughter trilogy, The Cage and its newly released sequel The Hunt (May 2016, Harper Collins) presents a workshop for teen writers at Spellbound Children’s Bookshop on Friday June 10 at 6:00 p.m.

This is part of Spellbound’s ongoing Young Writers Series, in which professional authors lead small workshops for kids interested in writing. Subjects and age ranges vary, with workshops throughout the year. The subject of this workshop is Powerful Premises and Fresh Ideas, and it’s for ages 13-18 years. Admission is $15 or purchase of the author’s new releaseThe Hunt from Spellbound at $17.99. The class will last 60-90 minutes, and there will be time for book signing. Spellbound is located in the Merrimon Square Shopping Center on Merrimon Avenue, next to Urban Burrito. Parents can drop off students and return by 7:30.
