Better Dads Festival Comes to Asheville

Looking Glass Creamery Expanding

Looking Glass Creamery, owned by Jennifer & Andy Perkins, is expanding production and building a new facility with underground cheese aging caves in the agricultural heart of Polk County, NC. Their existing facility located in Fairview, NC will also be renovated to offer more retail and food service options and improved parking. The new cheesemaking operation will add to the burgeoning agricultural economy in Polk County and fit well alongside the numerous vineyards, five wineries, diversified vegetable operations, and livestock farms already thriving in the area. The new facility will be located on the historic Harmon Dairy, a second generation cow dairy run by brothers, Doug and Alan Harmon.

Retro Age Opens In Asheville Mall

Asheville gains a new retro video game store as Retro Age, a small southern branch of stores, sets to open in the Asheville Mall April 1st. Retro Age is owned and operated by Val Fisher, a recent transplant to Asheville. Asheville will be the third Retro Age store to open, the others in Georgia and Florida. The store buys and sells anything video game related, with the exception of PC games.

Asheville Outlets to Host March Of Dimes

Asheville Outlets will host the March of Dimes 2017 March for Babies kick-off fundraising event, as well as, the first Miracle Models Fashion Show on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Families and businesses throughout Western North Carolina are invited to attend and start raising funds for March for Babies.
