Eblen Charities and Wicked Weed Brewing are gearing up for the third annual sour festival scheduled for Saturday, July 16^th. The Funkatorium Invitational (formerly Funk Asheville) will host 50+ breweries both well established and up and coming that are paving the sour and wild path for craft beer. Ticket sales are slated for Monday, May 9^thbeginning at noon via ETIX.

With production ramping up over the next few years, the 500,000 barrel capacity, 127,000 square-foot brewery gives the country’s fourth-largest craft brewer 1.5 million barrels of total capacity.

Starting in May, beer fans can kick back along the French Broad River in Asheville and sip a Fat Tire in New Belgium’s sparkling new “Liquid Center” tasting room. On May 2 the doors swing open at 21 Craven Street, Asheville, NC and the public will be able to taste locally brewed New Belgium beers for the first time at the brewery’s new location. Tasting room hours will be Monday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday noon to 8:00 p.m. Public brewery tours will start this summer.

Brewgrass Festival, Western North Carolina’s original craft beer festival, is proud to announce its 20th anniversary event will be held on Saturday, September 17th at Memorial Stadium in Asheville, NC. Over 55 breweries will offer a diverse assortment of national and regional craft beers against a backdrop of Bluegrass-infused music. Tickets for Brewgrass go on sale this Friday, March 25th at 11 am ET and can be purchased online via BrewgrassFestival.com. A full music lineup will be announced soon.
