DIG Fest 2014 Kicks Off Friday Night

What are you doing this weekend? If your answer was anything other than “I’m going to DIG fest”, then you might want to re-evaluate some of your life decisions…kidding, but seriously, you should check it out.

“But what is DIG fest?”

DIG fest, or the Downtown Independent Groove Festival, is a two day festival featuring some of the best musical talent our great city has to offer. The festival boasts eight venues and somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 bands spanning a wide range of genres, even some you probably haven’t heard of (you’re welcome hipsters.)   Oh and did I mention there will be beer? Well it is Asheville: of course there will be beer.
