Molly Brett became fascinated with mind/body awareness at sixteen. Invigorated by the depths of weekly practice, Molly enrolled in a teacher’s training program; by the age of eighteen she had completed a 250-hour program including work in asana (yoga postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, and yogic scriptures.
In 2004 Molly stumbled upon Pilates searching for something to strengthen her running practice. She opened a studio in southwest Virginia, and for the past five years has had the pleasure of working with a variety of clients focusing on a wide range of goals: recovery from injury, initiating a new fitness program, supporting elite athletic pursuits.
Moses Goldstein, BS, NCTMB (NC license #6887) is an exuberant, joyful human who plans to grow older without fully growing up…
As the son of a midwife and a woodcrafter, Mo grew up in the unique Celo community in WNC. Surrounded and enthralled by abundant wildlife, he spent much of his time swimming in clear rivers and murky ponds, climbing trees, and running barefoot through the woods. (He still does all of these as often as possible.)
While earning his BS in Biology from UNC Charlotte, Mo massaged many of his friends to ease the stress of studying or help them recover from playtime injuries. These wise friends encouraged Mo to drop his plans for a career in microbiology and genetic research and instead become a massage therapist. In 1999, Mo graduated with honors from the renown Boulder College of Massage Therapy and began his massage career in earnest.
Working in both private practice and in world class spas, Mo quickly developed a reputation for his unique approach to massage. The term “mo-ssage” gives reference to his nickname, but more so to the moving, three-dimensional style of his bodywork. Mo uses a customized blend of techniques to provide each client with a deeply therapeutic, yet truly relaxing experience. A mo-ssage can vary in technique and pressure from very gentle to very deep. Mo may incorporate classic Swedish massage, Thai style stretching, breath work, trigger point therapy, neuromuscular therapy, sports massage, myofascial release, reflexology, reiki, and humor into a seamless flow that will become your mo-ssage session.
