New Woman Owned Coffee Cart Hosts Grand Opening

The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride supports new Female-owned Coffee Start-Up’s Grand Opening

A new Asheville espresso cart is hosting their Grand Opening Sunday September 27th alongside likeminded Café Racers, to raise money for prostate cancer.

MOCO, short for “Motorcycle Coffee Club” is a brand new, female-owned, mobile coffee cart to be regularly located downtown Asheville in Pack Square. Their custom Espresso machine sits cleverly on top of an elegant coffee shop constructed on the sidecar of a classic 1973 Motorcycle.

This Sunday, September 27th, 2015, “thousands of distinguished gentlemen (and genteel ladyfolk!) in hundreds of cities worldwide don their cravats, press their tweed and sit astride their classic-styled motorcycles to raise funds for prostate cancer research and awareness. It’s a day about spreading merriment whilst raising awareness of a pressing issue.”

The fledgling MOCO espresso cart will be offering donation-based coffee for all Asheville Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DRG) riders on the 27th. All donations will go towards the Asheville DGR fundraising.

MOCO owner, Jani Taljaard states:

“We are so excited to kick-start our small business with Asheville’s unique Café Racer Community, and to have the Distinguished Gentlemen’s yearly event come together on the same day makes it a perfect union of ladies and gentlemen! ”

“The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Ride is an dapper-clad event that represents the 500,000 men affected by the prostate cancer and we hope that the donations that we raise on Sunday will help with raising awareness and research into finding a cure.”

Sounds great, but I wonder if they know that moco is Spanish for booger?
