This new production facility was a vertical move to increase their distribution in Asheville, to support their large offering of beers. Green Man Brewery Releases First Canned Offering: Wayfarer IPA

Green Man Brewery, which has been a staple in the Asheville craft beer scene since its conception in 1997, finally has a canned offering available.  Wayfarer IPA is one of Green Man’s most popular rotating offerings that has been offered in 12 oz. bottles in the past.  This Citra-forward IPA will now be available in 12 oz. can 6-packs.

Zelda Fitzgerald, “The First Flapper”, ushered in the roaring 20s. She was a force in one of America’s first power couples, living fast and flamboyantly. She bravely endured the stigmas of being a woman with a mental illness, and suffered for her art and creations. Sadly, Zelda died before her time in a horrible fire in Asheville.

A Beer Festival Beyond Just Tasting – Asheville Beer Expo

This past Saturday, February 27th, The Venue in Downtown Asheville was filled wall-to-wall with craft beer lovers, brewers, and entrepreneurs as they hosted the Asheville Beer Expo.  The Asheville Brewers Alliance invited about 30 breweries to this variation on a common beer festival.
