Reciprocation Hoppy Juniper Ale Release at Burial Beer

6 Brewery Collaboration Release

THE BEER: Reciprocation Hoppy Juniper Ale

A winter walk through the woods with big pine hop and juniper herbal notes finely balanced with a more robust, wintertime appropriate malt backbone of biscuit and caramel flavors. Brewed with juniper berries and dry hopped with chinook and rakau hops. 6% ABV

THE STORY BEHIND THE BEER:

Asheville. Why Asheville? In a sea of breweries why did we choose asheville? These are common questions we get. One of the major reasons was the sense of camaraderie in the brewing community. From the moment we opened, we knew we could count on others for resources and support and vice versa.

We started small. It was a challenge to keep up with the demands of loyal beer drinkers on a 1 barrel, pilot system. During that first year and a half, we collaborated with 5 different breweries. Each collaboration (due to the size of our small system) was brewed on their systems. Having the volume of beer that was produced from those collaborations allowed us to keep our doors open and not run out of beer.

Now we are brewing on our 10 barrel system and we are able to return the favor of hosting a collaboration. We collaborated with the 5 amazing breweries on this hoppy ale brewed with juniper berries. Altamont Brewing Co. Asheville Brewing Co., Greenman Brewing, Hi – Wire Brewing and Pisgah Brewing Co— we thank you.

Tuesday March 10- the re – release of Skillet Donut Stout served with Vortex Doughnuts doughnut holes as always

Wednesday March 11- we are releasing a 6 way collaboration  between Burial Beer Co., Altamont Brewing, Asheville Brewing Co., Green Man Brewing, Hi Wire Brewing and Pisgah Brewing, as a thank you to those breweries who we collaborated with (on their systems) while we brewed on our 1 barrel system.

We will all be releasing this collaboration at our respective taprooms on Wednesday March 11 in the name of our beer community’s collaborative spirit.
