Hi-Wire Brewing has announced their 2019 Release Calendar, with the coming year seeing many returning fan favorites and a line-up of new beers to keep things fresh and build on what was a huge 2018 from the Asheville brewery. Kicking off January Hi-Wire Brewing will be releasing three specialty beers including their fifth version of Hazy&Juicy&Hoppy&Fresh IPA dry-hopped with Mosaic & Wakatu, German Chocolate Cupcake 10W-40 Imperial Stout variant, and Enchanter Baltic Porter. Hi-Wire Brewing Announces Rotating Gose Series and December Beer Releases

Hi-Wire Brewing is adding a new twist to their popular Hi-Wire Gose year-round offering by moving the brand into a rotating year-round Gose Series. The new format will allow the Asheville, NC brewery to experiment with different flavor combinations to better reflect each season of this typically ‘summery’ style. Customers will now be able to enjoy Hi-Wire Brewing’s latest creation and year-round flagship, Lo-Pitch Juicy India Pale Ale (4.9% ABV), scheduled to hit shelves and both of Hi-Wire’s taprooms by early January 2017.

Bike from Work Week: 5 WNC Breweries Support Bicycle Advocacy

 National Bike to Work Week is May 16-20 and a handful of WNC breweries are hosting Bike from Work week. Enjoy a beer, support bicycle advocacy, and have your bike tuned at Wedge, HiWire, Highland, Wicked Weed and New Belgium Brewery on your way home from work. Proceeds from pint sales will be split between bicycle advocacy organization Asheville on Bikes and greenway non-profit Friends of Connect Buncombe. Each brewery will host an evening of bike-centric activities. On Friday, May 20 at 6 p.m. at New Belgium Brewery, the breweries will donate collective proceeds to the two non-profits.

Hi-Wire Brewing Releases New Summer Seasonals

With the changing of the seasons comes two new seasonal releases in Hi-Wire Brewing’s lineup. Aerialist Hoppy Lager is being released for the first time on 4/1/16 as Hi-Wire’s Summer Lager Seasonal, and warm weather favorite Uprisin’ Hefeweizen returns as their Summer Ale Seasonal on 4/8/16.

Hi-Wire Brewing Announces Tennessee Launch

In the last 6 months, Asheville based Hi-Wire Brewing, which was named Best New North Carolina Brewery of 2013 by RateBeer, underwent an extensive expansion and brought on line their 27,000 square foot Big Top production facility (2 Huntmans Place, Asheville, NC). The increased brewing capacity allowed the two year old brewery to not only make a larger amount of their well known flagship beers but also introduce new ones to the lineup, including a series of lager seasonals. The expansion also gave the brewery the opportunity to launch new markets, including South Carolina in September and, in the month of October, Tennessee.
