The Asheville Downtown Association (ADA) and Foundation (ADAF) today announced that they’re taking Downtown After 5 virtual, as well as a new program to directly support Asheville music professionals. Based on state and local guidelines regarding public gatherings, the May 15 and June 19 Downtown After 5 events are going online. Through a partnership with IamAVL and The Orange Peel, Downtown After 5 will be live streamed to YouTube and Facebook.

The Fantastic Furry Frenzy is Black Friday, November 28th until Saturday, November 29th from 10 AM until 6 PM. Doorbusters include a free tennis ball with every dog adoption or a free bag of cat treats with every cat or kitten adoption, while supplies last.

Prestige Subaru selected Asheville Humane Society as the Hometown Charity for the "Share the Love" Event kicking off today and running through January 2, 2015. Subaru of America will donate $250 for each new car bought or leased, allowing the buyer to choose from participating charities during the event.
