Free Monthly Climate Change Film Series Continues March 28th @ The Collider

The Collider's monthly movie night, presented by Oskar Blues Brewery and featuring films related to climate change and the environment, continues on Tuesday, March 28, at the nonprofit innovation center in downtown Asheville. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; the program begins at 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public (with a suggested donation). Popcorn and a selection of Oskar Blues beers will be provided.

Asheville Participates In World Climate Simulation

 Asheville will be one of more than 20 cities around the world where World Climate simulations will be held this week on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, 5:30 – 8 p.m. Other locations include cities in Ghana, Ethiopia, South Korea, Argentina, UK, and Nigeria. World Climate is the award-winning “serious game” designed in Asheville by Climate Interactive, an organization with offices at The Collider.

Twin Leaf Brewing Partners with Asheville Museum of Science

Twin Leaf Brewing is teaming up with the Asheville Museum of Science (AMOS), previously known as the Colburn Science Museum, to create two beers that will raise funds for the museum’s current spotlight campaign. The collaboration supports AMOS’s expansion into the Wells Fargo building adjacent to Pritchard Park, a move which will almost double its exhibit and classroom space and allow for expanded science education programming in Western North Carolina.
