Run Club Rye Pale Ale: Brewed for our Wicked Weed Run Club taking place at the Funkatorium Thursdays at 6:30pm.  We will be brewing different ‘run club’ ales all year long!
New Bottle
La Bonte is now in bottles and on sale for $10.95.  This is part of our Canvas Series of beers meant to provide a playground for creativity by exploring new beers with no boundaries.  Brett Burglar is also part of this series (you’ll notice their labels are similar).  La Bonte will be brewed with a different fruit in every batch, this batch boasting Italian plums.

The pre-sale will take place on Saturday May 2nd at 12pm online only.  Pre-sale pickup is scheduled for Saturday May 24th and Sunday May 25th at the Funkatorium.  The bottle sale will also take place at the Funkatorium on May 25th at 12pm.  Aged for a total of 10 months, this American sour rested on a total of one metric ton of apricots over the course of its life in the barrel. Deep golden with a bright fruit haze and stone fruit tartness, this ale pulls inspiration from traditional Lambic fruits and showcases the depth and range of apricot flavors.

Wicked Weed Brewing is based in Asheville, North Carolina. Opened in December 2012, the original brewpub consistently hosts 25+ beers on tap including hop forward, West Coast style ales, open fermented Belgians, and barrel aged sour and wild beers. With the opening of the second location, The Funkatorium, in October 2014, Wicked Weed is striving to become the largest producer of barrel aged beers in the Southeastern US. Wicked Weed Brewing was awarded a gold medal for both 100% Brettanomyces Serenity in 2013 and Mompara Honey Ale in 2014 at the Great American Beer Festival. In addition to these beers, Wicked Weed is known for producing Freak of Nature Double IPA, Coolcumber Ale, Tyrant Double Red Ale, Hopburgular Citrus IPA, Black Angel Cherry Sour and Oblivion Sour Red. Most recently, Wicked Weed announced plans to open a 40,000 square foot production facility by fall 2015.
