Dog Days of Summer Pet Food Drive

The Asheville Area Professional Pet Sitters Association and the PetGazette are coordinating a pet food drive and Dog Days of Summer Party, to benefit Brother Wolf Animal Rescue on Friday, August 15, 2014 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Universal Joint at 784 Haywood Road, (West) Asheville, North Carolina 28806.

Pet food barrels will be available to drop off dog and cat food (non perishable) from Friday, August 1 through the 31st at five locations in Asheville.

The Dog Days of Summer Party on August 15th will be outside on the patio and yard at the Universal Joint. It’s an opportunity to help stock the shelves with dog and cat food for the hundreds of animals in the care of Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. Money donations are also appreciated during the event. Come meet the area’s professional pet sitters who provide care for animals (dogs, cats, birds, chickens, pigs, horses, fish, reptiles and more) in Buncombe County. Leashed dogs are welcome on the patio during the event.
