Blue Ridge Rollergirls Rock The Odditorium

Are you wondering if your favorite Blue Ridge Rollergirl can get down with some Janis Joplin, Bruno Mars, or even Lisa Loeb? Come to West Asheville’s The Odditorium on Thursday, March 5, at 7 p.m. to find out! The Blue Ridge Rollergirls would like to invite you to kick off their 2015 season with a karaoke night that will shimmy those skates (or ultra-cool Chuck Taylors) right off your feet.

Entry is $5 at the door and just an extra $2 to hear a Blue Ridge Rollergirl wail out some Lynyrd Skynyrd, Joan Jett, or any other artist of your choosing. If you haven’t heard All Star blocker Dixie Kicks belt “Me and Bobby McGee,” or French Broad jammer (and brunette) Sparkle Plug wow the crowd with some 4 Non Blondes, this is an event you don’t want to miss!

The karaoke event serves as the precursor to an exciting, fast-paced season that the team has planned for 2015. The first official Blue Ridge Rollergirls home bout will take place on Saturday, April 11, at the US Cellular Center in downtown Asheville. The first bout will begin at 5 p.m., with another bout thrilling fans at 7 p.m. On Monday, March 2, be sure and check out the brand new website at blueridgerollergirls.com for more information about future events.

Please join the Blue Ridge Rollergirls for some lyrics, laughter, and love at the Odditorium on March 5, and at the US Cellular Center for the 2015 season! We look forward to rockin’ out with you and your friends.
