Come Out Laughing Comedy Tour Coming to Asheville’s The Grey Eagle on 1/19/19 for Two Shows

Featuring Nationally-Acclaimed Comedians Erin Foley (CONAN) and Jason Dudey (NBC’s Last Comic Standing)

On Saturday, January 19th, The Come Out Laughing Comedy Tour, featuring nationally-acclaimed comedians Erin Foley (CONAN) and Jason Dudey (NBC’s Last Comic Standing) will perform at The Grey Eagle in Asheville at 7:00 PM & 9:30 PM.

Created by national headlining comics Jason Dudey and Erin Foley, Come Out Laughing is a comedy tour that brings together LGBTQ and straight audiences who love to laugh. Every show features standup comics — gay and straight — and welcomes everyone. Come Out Laughing promotes inclusivity through laughter. At the end of the day, funny is funny!

Erin Foley is an amazing comedic actress, stand up comic, and writer. Foley is the host of Mixologist And A Movie on Lifetime and is a cast member on season one of How to Be A Grown-Up on Tru Tv.

As a seasoned comedian, she has her own Comedy Central Presents, as well as having been on Conan O’Brien, @Midnight, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Chelsea Lately, Arsenio Hall and Last Call With Carson Daly.  She has performed at the Montreal Comedy Festival, the San Francisco Sketch Fest, Moontower Comedy Festival in Austin and Limestone Comedy Festival in Bloomington.

Foley’s successful comedic podcast Sports Without Balls was recently added to the All Things Comedy network. In addition, she co-hosts the Bachelor podcast Will You Accept This Rose. As an actress, Erin can be seen in the Netflix movie Handsome, Almost Famous, and guest star roles on several sitcoms.

She’s currently a contributing writer on NPR’s Live From Here and wrote on the NBC sitcom One Big Happy. Her versatility makes her one of the most sought-after women working the comedy scene today.

Jason Dudey has been a national touring headliner for the last fifteen years. Jason can be seen on NBC’s Last Comic Standing, LOGO’s Wisecracks, Comedy Central and MTV.

He’s played to sold out audiences from Sacramento to Baltimore to Tampa and toured with Kathleen Madigan, Louie Anderson, Jennifer Coolidge and Sandra Bernhardt along the way. Jason’s humor has also brought him national attention as a finalist at The World Series of Comedy three years in a row, along with entry into the Outlaugh Comedy festival and the New York Comedy Festival.

Spring boarding off the critical success of his first comedy album, “Major Dudey”, Jason released his second CD, “Exceeding All Expectations” in the fall of 2017. Both albums can be heard on Sirius XM Radio, Pandora and iTunes.

Jason is excited to be back on tour with Come Out Laughing. A recent divorcee and cancer survivor only adds to his humor. “Life happens, and it keeps happening and then when you’re not looking, it happens again. I never thought cancer would be funny but, when you lose hair in places that you didn’t even know you had hair, you have to laugh and move on,” exclaims Jason. Life hasn’t gotten him down yet and it never will!
