Critter Check Up at the WNC Nature Center, February 16th

Show your child’s favorite stuffed animal some love! Critter Check Up is a chance for your child to get a clean bill of health for their stuffed animal friend from a veterinarian at the WNC Nature Center. Visitors are invited to bring one plush, stuffed animal in for a vet check up between 10a.m. and 1p.m. on Saturday, February 16th though tickets must be purchased in advance.

Veterinarians and veterinary technicians volunteer their time to give each plush animal a thorough wellness exam. After the check up, the veterinarians will advise the stuffed animal’s owner of any “diagnoses” or care recommendations. Your child will be able to take part in the exam as an assistant!

Tickets to the event at $10 per child for non-members and $8 per child for members; tickets must be purchased online. There is no fee for parents and all event attendees will receive free admission to the Nature Center for the day of the event. Online ticket sales end at midnight on Thursday, February 14.

This event is put on by the Friends of the WNC Nature Center with all proceeds benefiting the Center. Additional event information available at wildwnc.org/event/critter-checkup .
