Beer from Hi-Wire Brewing will be served, along with wine and nibbles.

Saturday, December 10th, Santa will be at the Pop Up Shop for kids and families to take pictures with from 10am – 12pm. After snapping their photos, kids are invited to partake in a holiday craft at Blackberg Creative Studios free craft table.

Sunday, December 11th from 2pm – 5pm will be a Meet the Maker event, where shoppers can meet the designers and artisans, pose questions, and learn the story behind their favorite products.

Friday, December 16th from 6pm – 9pm will be our Ugly Sweater Jam, where guests will be encouraged to wear an ugly holiday sweater whilst listening to live music and enjoying beverages whilst browsing.

The East West Pop Up Shop is run by three local Asheville business women, who organize the pop up alongside their regular businesses. Nikki Whited owns East West Vintage Rentals & Venue in West Asheville (where the pop up is held), Stephanie Mergelsberg organizes creative maker workshops with Blackberg Creative Studios, and Sally Hudson is a textile designer creating home and fashion accessories with her company Stellata. The East West Pop Up Shop originated within the creative communities in Asheville to create another opportunity for the independent maker. In support of handmade, vintage, and local, the East West Pop Up took an empty venue and transformed it into a unique curated shopping experience. Vendors leave their goods with the Pop Up Team to create a one-of-a-kind retail space. The Holiday Pop Up continues into it’s third holiday season, this year expanding from a 4-day event into 10-days with over 80 vendors.
