Asheville South Slope Brewery Tours Launch

Burial Beer Co. and Wicked Weed Brewing have launched internal tour programs for Asheville’s South Slope.  Wicked Weed Brewing’s Funkatorium and Burial Beer Co.’s taproom are located within one block of one another which lead us to the idea that we should collaborate to bring loyal beer drinkers a site where they could easily sign up for a tour at one or both of our breweries, www.southslopebrewerytours.com.

Our desire is to convey the passion behind why we do what we do and offer an in depth look at our beers, while providing a behind the scenes experience. Our on staff tour guides are very much a part of our brewery family and, therefore, the best representations of who we are. This inside view into the every day life at the brewery with a view of the bigger picture and future plans, will leave you with a better understanding of our culture and drive behind our perspective crafts.

During the tour, if you are 21+ and interested in drinking, you will purchase a flight of 3, 4oz pours. Our tour guides will chose the three beers that best represent our focus, our passion and the range of styles we offer. Those purchasing a tour with the flights, as well as those choosing not to drink or unable to drink (between the ages of 13-20, or 21+ non-drinkers) will receive a logo souvenir glass. Children 12 and under still need to register for the tour but do not have to pay for the tour. Those who are non-drinkers or 12 and under need to register for the tour with an adult who is 21 and over.
