Asheville Vaudeville First Show of Season October 10th

Asheville Vaudeville is bringing the bright and talented performers to the spotlight once again. The 2015-2016 season begins with two shows on October 10, 2015 at Toy Boat Community Artspace in Biltmore Village.

Millie Van Illa is the Master of Ceremonies for this month, offering vaudevillian banter and laughs as she presents the acts for October. Two shows in one night will feature the sketch comedy stylings of Jim Julien, the puppet masterwork of Keith Shubert of Toy Box Theatre, displays of astonishing flow arts with hula hoop by Laura Goetz and jugging by Forty Fingers & a Missing Tooth, fantastical storytelling by Onkel Woland and the Black Forest Menagerie, absurd clowning by El Payaso Fracasado, and four talented burlesque performers who will take your breath away: Apryl Ooh LaLa, Catalina Mystique, UnAmerika’s Sweetheart Karin Webb, and her highness Queen April.

Asheville Vaudeville has proudly featured the various skills, talents, and unique art of our local performers for many years. Every act is guaranteed to never have been performed at Asheville Vaudeville, so you’ll always see something new.

As usual, this show is intended for grownup children, 18+
