The Omni Grove Park Inn in Asheville, N.C., is kicking off the new year with its annual Winter Concert Series featuring critically-acclaimed musicians in the genres of Swing, Jazz and Celtic and Comedy. Running from mid-January into mid-March, this year’s series offers great music and great fun for 2015.
Big Band & Swing Dance (Jan. 16 & 17) – Dance the night away to live music from the Big Band & Swing era with incredible performances from NC Revelers on Friday $40 ticket and Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra on Saturday $45 ticket.
All That Jazz (Jan. 23 & 24) – Let the music of Bourbon Street reverberate through the Blue Ridge Mountains with critically-acclaimed New Orleans musicians, Nicholas Payton Trio on Friday evening $50 ticket and jazz legend, Ellis Marsalis on stage Saturday night $55.
Celtic (Jan. 30 & 31) – Celebrate the Celtic heritage of Western North Carolina. Celtic band, RUNA makes its first appearance at the resort on Friday $40 ticket and Gaelic Storm returns by popular demand, to rock the stage Saturday night $45.
Comedy Classic (March 13 & 14) – Laugh out loud with two nights of uproarious comedy hosted by Pat McGann. Friday night features comedians Andy Woodhull, Julie Scoggins, Julian McCullough, Jeff Caldwell and headliner Lachlan Patterson $45 ticket. Saturday night features comedians Andy Hendrickson, Tone Bell, Erin Foley and headliner Tom Papa $50 ticket.
