AshevilleBlog staff is thrilled to introduce to you a new regular part of the blog called Asheville Sessions. We’ve been working with some local (and not so local) bands here in the city and doing unplugged performances with each. It’s our way of giving back to the local music scene – providing free, professional promotion to each band that plays with us. Check in weekly for the latest session posting.
Our first Asheville Session is with Megan Jean and the KFB. Megan Jean and the KFB are a unique traveling duo with an eclectic sound that they explain can only be described as “a metal band, if it were 1927.” Megan and her husband Byrne Klay did an acoustic recording of their song Rouge for Asheville Sessions. We recorded in the heart of downtown Asheville, in front of one of the iconic Chicken Alley murals.
