Asheville Gets a Little Sweeter with Opening of Nothing Bundt Cakes

Best friends move from Texas to be closer to family on the east coast

As guest service representatives with Nothing Bundt Cakes bakeries in Ft. Worth, TX, Megan Herschmann and Rebekah Moody became fast friends and thought it would be fun to own a bakery together. Now, six years later, the two are thrilled about their new adventure. “We always joked about how fun it would be to own a bakery together one day,” shared Herschmann. “We can’t believe that six years later, our dream is coming true!” The two both have family in the southeast, Herschmann in Tennessee and Moody in Georgia, and they knew that Asheville would be the perfect place to be. “With our families so far away, our Nothing Bundt Cakes team became our family back in Texas,” said Moody. “Now that we have opened our own bakery, we are excited to create our new Asheville “Bundt family!”  The bakery will host a week of grand opening festivities for the community March 1-7 (details below).
