Beer and Chocolate Pairing: Catawba Brewing To Host During Beer Week

Catawba Brewing hosts another wildly popular 90 minute Beer and Chocolate Pairing on the South Slope during Asheville Beer Week at 7:00 PM on the evening of Wednesday, June first.

Four delicious specialty beers pair with 8 delicious chocolates: made up of a combination of chocolate bars and chocolate truffles. This has become an interactive event, where the hosts lead an instructional portion of the event while guests collaborate on taste, aroma, and impressions in a very social atmosphere.

Guests doodle and take notations on the brown paper table cloths, sprinkled with cocoa nibbs, cocoa seeds, and large cocoa pods. Tasters explore different combinations and learn how the “sip-chewmelt-sip” approach highlights the explosion of flavor.
