DRIVE ELECTRIC (CARS) FOR EARTH DAY AT ASHEVILLE OUTLETS

SUNDAY, APRIL 28, 2019 from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. Hosted by Blue Ridge Electric Vehicle Club and Western North Carolina Tesla Owners Free and Open to the Public Join the Blue Ridge Electric Vehicle Club and Western North Carolina Tesla Owners for Drive Electric Earth Day on Sunday, April 28th, from 12 noon to 4:00 p.m. at Asheville Outlets. The event is sponsored by Land of Sky Clean Vehicles Coalition and Southern Alliance for Clean Energy. The event is free and open to the public.  Along with local electric vehicle (EV) drivers and their vehicles, electric bicycles and yard equipment will be on display. Featured electric vehicles will include the Tesla Model 3, Chevy Bolt and the 2019 Nissan Leaf. Plus, the latest all electric Jaguar IPace. Owners will be available to answer questions about the EV lifestyle including charging, costs and performance. Several hotels have special rates for those attending Drive Electric Earth Day, including Holiday Inn Express & Suites Asheville SW – Brevard Road, Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott – Asheville South and Lake Powhatan Recreational Area/Campground. Franny’s Farmacy Opens 3rd Location in Johnson City, TN

Two is better than one, and three is better than two; at least in the case of the newly launched Franny’s Farmacy – Johnson City, TN location. As a vertically integrated company, Franny’s Farmacy is one of the only hemp based brands specializing in “seed to shelf” CBD growth, production, manufacturing and selling. With two highly trafficked retail locations in Western North Carolina (Asheville and Hendersonville), the third location was bound to happen. But contrary to owners Jeff and Franny Tacy’s plans, a charismatic couple from Johnson City, TN (Derek and Dawn Wagner) approached the Tacy’s about replicating their proven successful model in their own city. As if it were written into a script, both Derek and Dawn have striking similarities to Jeff and Franny.  Derek and Jeff are contractors, and Dawn, just like Franny, has a background in pharmaceutical sales.
