Can we get an "Amen!"? Two years after its initial release, New Belgium Brewing’s RyePA is coming back with a nod to the brewer’s dual hometowns in Colorado and North Carolina. Originally brewed with Carolina Rye™, heirloom rye grown in North Carolina and floor malted by Riverbend Malt House in Asheville, RyePA revival also incorporates rye from Colorado Malting, a fourth-generation family farm in Alamosa, CO. The hoppy Rye IPA is available in New Belgium Folly Packs nationwide through May.

Highland Brewing Company will release Saw-Whet Saison, the first of three new seasonal beers, on Jan. 29, 2016, in the brewery’s tasting room. It will be followed by Early’s Hoppy Wheat in April and Lost Cove Kolsch in June.

Bold Rock Hard Cider has unveiled the new packaging and bottle design for its full line-up of award-winning hard cider styles. The refreshed look comes as Bold Rock enters its fourth year making craft cider with apples locally picked in the Blue Ridge Mountains and continues to expand its reach throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Today, the largest hard cider marker in the Carolinas opened their doors to hundreds of excited locals. Only a few miles from  Sierra Nevada Brewery, Bold Rock Hard Cider welcomed visitors to their 22,500 square foot bottling facility at 72 School House Road in Mills River. The two level tasting room overlooks the production space, where locally sourced apples will be turned into alcoholic beverages available in a variety of flavors.
