Two Irish beer releases brewed in honor of the holiday will be available at both events, which will take place at the South Slope location.

This event pairs four specialty Catawba beers with chocolate in Catawba's South Slope Rickhouse bar under the crystal chandeliers. Guests will smell, sniff, chew-melt, and sip in an interactive exploration with their tablemates under the expert guidance of Crawford Rizor, Head Chocolate Producer of the South Slope's favorite chocolate factory - The French Broad Chocolate Lounge. Last December, Catawba Brewing released the first in a new series of fruited IPAs brewed in their Asheville South Slope pilot brewery, when they rolled out a Pineapple IPA for their “Tropical Xmas” party. Since then, many other fruit-forward hoppy beers have made all-too-brief appearances in Catawba tasting rooms, consistently ranking among their fastest-selling Small Batch beers. Beginning this July, Catawba’s newly branded Friki Tiki IPAs are here to stay.
