Asheville to Host First Drag Brunch to Support Homeless
Asheville Drag Brunch will host its first Local Celebrity Drag Brunch on Sunday, March 10 at 1 p.m. at Bebette’s Café in Asheville to raise funds for the homeless. One ticket buys brunch which includes coffee, beignets, cheese grits, vegetable egg casserole, sausage, and breakfast potatoes, and also includes the drag show. Profits from this show benefit the local charity BeLoved Asheville as they help Asheville's homeless people year-round. Upcoming brunches will benefit additional local charities. Asheville Symphony presents Beethoven’s timeless Pastoral Symphony

Hi-Wire Brewing Announces Plans for Birmingham, AL Location
The brewer’s first Alabama taproom, set to open in late summer, will join Hi-Wire’s roster of soon-to-be ten taprooms. With expansions underway at both its Biltmore Village Production and South Slope Specialty breweries in Asheville, two additional locations are scheduled to open this year – Charlotte, N.C., in the spring and Cincinnati near the end of 2022. Alabama marks the fourth state in which the award-winning brewery will have premises with six facilities in Hi-Wire’s home state of North Carolina along with out-of-state taprooms in Knoxville, Tennessee, Louisville, Kentucky, and soon-to-be Cincinnati, Ohio.
